As Group Director of Facebook’s Global Marketing Solutions, Ali sets the direction for how CPG marketers can best leverage Facebook’s apps and services in a mobile-first environment. In this role, Ali is responsible for partnering with clients and agencies to deliver innovative and effective marketing solutions that drive business results.
Prior to joining Facebook in April 2015, Ali worked at Unilever where as Senior Marketing Director, she developed marketing and category strategies, new product innovation, communication, and delivered growth on many personal care and foods brands including Hellmann’s, Becel, Dove and Axe. During her time at Unilever, Ali also spent two years on the Customer Development team, building the personal care business with Walmart. Before joining Unilever, Ali worked at Loblaw Companies, as a Category Manager on Personal Care.
Ali prides herself on her ability to integrate her thorough understanding of CPG business challenges with the opportunities in a mobile-first marketing environment. Ali is based in Facebook’s Toronto office. She holds degrees from the Ivey School of Business at Western, and Schulich School of Business at York. Ali is a very proud wife and mother of two.
