Stewart is Program Director at IGD Canada, a food and consumer goods research organisation that delivers commercial insights for grocery retailers and CPG vendors globally. He joined IGD in the UK in 2005, and having transferred to Vancouver in 2009, is responsible for running IGD’s operations and research program in North America. Stewart is an expert on North American food retailer strategies and trends, and contributes to Retail Analysis, IGD's online subscription service. His specialisms include global format developments, grocery ecommerce and retail technology. Stewart is also a regular presenter at international conferences, a media commentator and works closely with grocery retailers and vendors as part of IGD's customised projects service.
