Robin Brown

Robin Brown leads Environics' consumer insights and cultural markets groups. He has over 20 years' experience in UK, Asia and North America.

He also has leveraged his ten years of Asian research experience to develop a strong track record conducting research into the needs of Canada's visible minority communities, especially South Asian and Chinese Canadians.

Brown's areas of expertise are branding and consumer behaviour, especially in retail and packaged goods. He has a particular expertise in shopper behaviour and understanding and has worked for many international retailers. He has guided clients in consumer packaged goods such as Coca-Cola and Unilever on their engagement of Chinese and South Asian consumers. He has extreme experience of conducting research on financial services among Canada's immigrant communities and has worked for TD Canada Trust, RBC, Western Union, ICICI and HSBC on research that has included South Asian Canadians as well as other immigrants and visible minority communities (Black, West Asian, Filipino Canadians).

Brown is the author of the recently published book, Migration nation: A practical guide to doing business in globalized Canada.
