Hailey Coleman

Offline Marketing Specialist


At just 21, Ryerson University marketing grad, Hailey Coleman, launched Damn Heels, a line of classy, comfortable, and convenient flats which she launched after hobbling home barefoot after a night out in heels. Coleman is a winner of the Ontario Partnership for Innovation and Commercialization Business Plan Competition, and the Slaight Communications Business Plan Competition. She was awarded the 2010 Committed Entrepreneurship award, and has been praised for her ingenuity and savvy business sense by some of Canada’s most prominent media outlets including The Toronto Star, National Post, The Globe and Mail, The Canadian Business Journal, Canadian Business magazine, ELLE Canada, FLARE, FASHION, LOU LOU, Breakfast Television, Global News, and CityLine. Coleman and Damn Heels were featured on the premier episode of the 5th season of CBC Television’s Dragons' Den. While she continues to lead Damn Heels, she has taken up a role as offline marketing specialist with Shopify to help other entrepreneurs realize their dreams of launching and growing their own business.
