Santiago’s career at IKEA spans over 20 years and has included many adventures in Marketing and Food. Since joining the Marketing team 12 years ago, Santiago has been driving digital marketing growth with leadership roles in web, social, and digital media. As the Head of Integrated Media, Santiago is a key strategic contributor to IKEA’s commercial and marketing plans while overseeing the full media program and marketing technology initiatives for Canada. Santiago is a graduate of the Communications, Culture and Information Technology: Digital Enterprise Management program at the University of Toronto.
Originally from Colombia, Santiago enjoys futbol, cooking and spending time with his wife, and daughters (mostly colouring, or playing dolls). He believes in seeing the beauty in every challenge and credits genuine curiosity for his personal and professional growth.
