Dan Howe

Chief Marketing Officer, Pattison Food Group

Dan Howe is a diversified international marketing, loyalty and strategy executive with experience with Save-On-Foods, Yum Restaurants (Pizza Hut / KFC / Taco Bell), Campbell’s Soup Company, and Nielsen Marketing Research.  Previously Dan was Chief Marketing Officer at Yum Restaurants in both Canada and Europe where he spent three years based in Geneva leading 26 European countries.

Dan joined the Save-On-Foods team in 2012 and he has held various executive roles leading marketing, loyalty, private label, strategic planning, digital strategies, call centers and communications teams to success through strong consumer-based strategies. In 2020, he was promoted to the role of President of More Rewards, as the loyalty program has grown into its own operating division.  More Rewards is a coalition loyalty program that collects rich data on over 3.5 million Canadians enabling partners to execute personalized digital offers and communication to drive profitable sales growth.  By building a strong consumer brand has enable More Rewards to successfully move from loyalty into travel, insurance, and data & media monetization.  

Dan is actively involved in the community both at work and in his personal life. At Save-On-Foods, Dan has developed new charity programs with BC Children’s Hospitals, Women’s Hospitals, and Food Banks. Dan sits on the board of United Way Lower Mainland and an advisory committee for Rugby Canada 7’s.  Dan and his wife, Eva, have three teenage daughters, who can be found in North Vancouver or Whistler skiing, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding or in an intense game of cards.
