A veteran of the digital media industry, Hewetson has worked with hundreds of advertisers, agencies and publishers on thousands of campaigns across multiple technology platforms.
Hewetson started his career as an early partner in advertising technology company Eyereturn, which was acquired by Torstar in 2008. In 2019, he joined Loblaw Media, where he oversees the development of the company's proprietary ad platforms, responsible for connecting brands with customers, to deliver real, measurable marketing outcomes.
Hewetson has been a featured speaker at events for the IAB Canada, AAM, Canadian Marketing Association, Mediapost, Marketing Magazine, Future Flash and others, and has had articles printed in Adexchanger, Mediapost and Media In Canada. He holds an Honors degree in Communications from Queen's University.
