Dan Howe is a diversified international marketing, loyalty and strategy executive with experience in retail, loyalty, grocery, restaurant, packaged-goods, and marketing research consulting. He has experience with Save-On-Foods, Yum Restaurants (Pizza Hut / KFC / Taco Bell), Campbell’s Soup Company, and Nielsen Marketing Research.
Previously Chief Marketing Officer at Yum Restaurants, Dan spent time based in Toronto leading Canada. Additionally, he spent three years based in Geneva leading 26 European countries.

Dan joined the Save-On-Foods team in 2012 as Vice President of Marketing, Loyalty, and Communications. Since then he has held various executive roles leading marketing, loyalty, private label, strategic planning, digital strategies, call centres and communications teams to success through strong consumer-based strategies. Today he has taken on the role of President of More Rewards as the loyalty program has grown into its own operating division. Under Dan’s leadership the program, which boasts more than three million household members, has developed diverse new partnerships and expanded to offer consumers exciting new services such as a full-scale travel agency through More Rewards Travel and home, travel, and life insurance through More Rewards Insurance.

Dan is actively involved in the community both at work and in his personal life. At Save-On-Foods, Dan has developed new charity programs with BC Children’s Hospitals, Women’s Hospitals, and Food Banks. Dan sits on the board of United Way Lower Mainland and an advisory committee for Rugby Canada 7’s. Outside of the office he has been a volunteer coach for his daughters’ sports teams, currently coaching two field-hockey teams. Dan holds a BBA Co-op degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and was a 3-time OUAA rugby all-star. Dan and his wife, Eva, have three teenage daughters, who can be found in North Vancouver or Whistler skiing, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding or in an intense game of cards.
