Yassin has over 25 years of experience in senior roles in CPG, telecoms, retail marketing and consultancy. Prior to Walmart Canada, she was the holding chief marketing and brand officer at Majid Al Futtaim, an MAF holding company that owns and develops shopping malls, retail stores including Carrefour, entertainment hubs, and leisure facilities across Middle East and Africa based out of Dubai.

Prior to MAF, Yassin was at PepsiCo for 15 Years across Canada and Middle East leading global brands like Lays, Doritos and Pepsi. She held several positions including head of marketing, head Of customer experience and head of innovation and strategy. Prior to PepsiCo, Yassin held roles at Vodafone Telecommunication company, Arthur Andresen consultancy and Panasonic.

 Yassin is a BA and MBA graduate of American University of Cairo.
