McDonell has over 17 years’ experience in sales & marketing. He has spent 14 years with Frito Lay in Canada and the U.S. in brand marketing, shopper marketing and customer management.
During his time in Canada, McDonell worked in brand marketing on Doritos, Lay’s and shopper marketing (mass, club and grocery). Prior to his current role, McDonell was the VP/GM PepsiCo sales in the U.S. leading the Safeway team and he also led customer strategy and shopper marketing for Frito Lay U.S. Prior to joining PepsiCo in 1998 he was in brand management at Procter & Gamble. He is also on the Dean’s Advisory Council for Laurier’s School of Business.
