Joining Best Buy Canada as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Scardillo brings more than 18 years of experience from a variety of facets in the marketing industry. Spending the first half of her career specializing in teen and family marketing, Scardillo has been the force behind the development of marketing, promotions and communications strategies for clients in the retail, food and beverage, energy conservation and youth marketing fields. Having published a number of articles on marketing & advertising, Scardillo has been featured in television program such as the Knowledge Network, and has led marketing workshops at international conferences in Canada and throughout the world. Scardillo’s energetic spirit infuses all aspects of her work – from developing communications strategies to the execution of marketing programs for national and global brands. She has created several platforms for brand identity and corporate communications projects, led and moderated research groups, launched four youth publications, and developed and produced proprietary retail premiums. In her role as vice-president of marketing for Best Buy Canada, Scardillo is largely responsible for leading the development and execution of retail marketing strategies and marketing communications across both the Best Buy and Future Shop brands. She works with cross-functional teams to develop the brand voice and to facilitate its consistent integration throughout the four key areas of advertising, marketing, promotions and creative development. A self-confessed foodie, Angela enjoys cooking and learning about different international cuisines and spending time with her two young children.
