VP, Marketing, Target Canada
As head of marketing for Target Canada, Zufferli is responsible for introducing Canadians to Target’s Expect More. Pay Less brand promise, and oversees events, brand, category marketing, digital, media and guest insights. Since joining Target in 2012 Zufferli has managed several highly successful campaigns. In spring 2013 she launched Target Canada’s first integrated advertising campaign, anchored by English-language TV spots featuring Dragonette’s version of “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” and Alfa Rococo’s “Viendras-tu avec moi?” in Quebec. Zufferli has also overseen several unique executions, including the Target Hotel during the Toronto International Film Festival and the Target Road Trip, which travelled across the country for three weeks last December, surprising and delighting people in more than 20 communities.
Zufferli brings to Target a passion for retail and extensive experience as a business and marketing strategist. Before joining Target in 2012, she was partner at Capital C, a Toronto-based marketing agency, where she led the strategy and insights practice. Prior to that, LZufferli held leadership positions at Shoppers Drug Mart, and also worked as a management consultant at Monitor Group for several years. Zufferli is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, and has completed executive education programs at Stanford University and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
